The Application Note — Cycle Timing & Application Sites
Dr. John Lee recommends using 20–40mg of bio-identical progesterone cream daily. Gently massage 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon (one-half to one pump) into a thin-skinned area of the body — neck, face, breastbone, or forearms — and alternate the application site between uses for optimal absorption.
For menstruating women: begin on day 12 of your cycle (day 1 being the first day of menstrual flow), continue through day 26, then stop and repeat monthly. For non-menstruating women: use for 25 consecutive days, then take a 5-day break, repeating monthly. If cycles are irregular, making day 12 difficult to identify, using it on a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off pattern can support the body’s natural hormonal rhythms. Progesterone cream should not be used in children, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
How to Use
